Les Mis/Hogwarts concept art

I've seen this idea done a few times before, but I just thought the idea was so cool I had to try it myself. So here's Fantine, Jean and Javert at Hogwarts. Their wands are based off descriptions on Potternore, and inspiration for their hosues mostly comes from here: [link]

I've got a few short drabbles in mind (mostly centering around these three, some Jean/Fantine and Javert/a certain star) so I thought it'd be good to have a rough guideline for the characters here. Also, I need advice for Javert's wand, I'm split between Ash (unyielding stubborness), Hornbeam (single-minded obsession) and Chestnut (justice). Any suggestions?

Fantine Foucher*

House: Hufflepuff
Wand: 10¼", Rowan, Unicorn Hair
Patronus: Swan
Best Subject: Charms
Worst Subject: History of Magic

Had a more normal life then the guys, and a strong friendship up until recently. Had a nasty breakup with her boyfriend, Felix, after she was caught helping him cheat on a test. He dobbed her in and now several of the teachers (and Javert) are on her case. While the teachers have settled down, Javert has not and he would be even more of a pain if not for Valjean telling him to back off. Was bullied by several girls in her year, which caused her to go to Felix in the first place. Can't write much more without spoilers

* Last name taken from Victor Hugo's wife as one was not provided in the book (?). Doesn't have as clear a character as the guys yet, but I'm working on it. Patronus is based of her beauty and how protective she was of Cosette.

Jean Valjean

House: Slytherin
Wand: 14", Fir, Dragon Heartstring
Patronus: Labrador
Best Subject(s): Herbology, Defence Against the Dark Arts
Worst Subject: undecided

Originally had a similar personality to pre-Bishop Valjean, being fined at a young age for stealing his parents wand and performing underage magic to protect his sister from a gang of thieves. Had a bad reputation in his younger years at Hogwarts, which would have faded if not for that nosy Gryffindor. Now acts as one of the few responable members of his house, acts as father figure to the younger students. Has used magic in self protection outside of school, a fact that Javert will never let him forget. Like Herbology (was a pruner/gardener in the Brick) and becomes a Prefect in his later years

* I thought about his house for ages, and in the end was torn between Slytherin and Hufflepuff, though he could have fitted anywhere. In the end I'm happy with Slytherin, it also makes Javert's hatred of him make more sense in this AU. This pretty much sums up why I chose his house (along with Javert's)- [link]

Emile* Javert

House: Gryffindor
Wand: 13¾" UNDECIDED*, Unicorn Hair, unyielding (ASH or HORNBEAM or CHESTNUT)
Patronus: Wolf
Best Subject(s): Astronomy, Defence Against the Dark Arts
Worst Subject(s): Divination, Charms

Growing up in the same town as Jean, Javert became obsessed with justice at an early age. His father was imprisoned in Azkaban and his mother was a Seer who used Divination skills to create a questionable living. Both of his parents were Slytherins and he may have been one as well, but he begged the Sorting Hat to place him in different house. Hates Valjean for what Javert sees as mocking the wizarding laws, and wants to be an Auror. Spends his free time patrolling the hallways Filch, despite his dislike of Mrs Norris. Not really popular, disliked by Gryffindors and Slytherins alike. Hates Slytherins, particually Thernardier, his girlfriend and Jean. Still obsessed with stars.

*He may or may not have been called Emile in one of the movie adaptions, but I thought it's meaning was cool (rivel) and it's grown on me. While he fits several of the traits, I doubt he would have put up with being placed in Slytherin and his death doesn't really fit the house's nature. Looks weird without sideburns...SUGGESTIONS FOR WHICH WAND I SHOULD CHOOSE GREATLY APPRECIATED
